the main attraction in Oatman, Wild burros

These burros come to town and the tourist and the towns people can pet them, feed them carrots and some of the people will groom them and take care of them. the mamas had little babies with them and they are so beautiful. we love them so much. It got to be pretty hard out in the hot summer weather, so its nice that these guys can get a bit of special treatment in town.

Oatman

Here is a cactus that is more than 200 years old and the owner of this shop built around the cactus. Pretty awesome sight.

The little restaurant has dollars stuck everywhere and from everywhere, here the kids are pointing out the ones that they left. Oakley had one he had left in 2005 and we couldn't find Cedar's so she had to put a new one for 2008. It is cool to read what others have written and the places they are from.

SPRING BREAK!!

We are so happy we were able to go to Bullhead, Arizona this Spring break. It was still freezing here in Idaho. The weather in Arizona was beautiful. We spent most of the week there, and Dad and Mom kept us busy with sight seeing, hiking and just playing around.

Skateboarding and scooter were on the top of the list of things to be done by Oakley and Cedar. They played nonstop.

Fun Pics, playing with dress up and my camera...

They really look pretty mean.

Dang cute kids, but they look alot like little gangsters. I guess its okay as long as they are just pretending.

Walking the dogs and kids.

This is the weather we are looking for... what a perfect day. I guess we need to be a patient a bit longer, but we sure do have cabin fever.

We love you Grandma and Grandpa.

With the weather so unpredicatable, we have days of wonderful sunshine and picnic weather and then the next day it snows 5 inches or blizzards. The kids set up girl and boy forts on one of the beautiful spring like days. I took food and drink so they could eat in the little private forts.

Grandpa and grandma came back from Arizona to get taxes done and we visited and planned our spring break trip down to Bullhead. We couldn't wait to get out of the Idaho cold.

How we spent our time out of school.

We all love to play guitar hero, and we sure fill like rock stars.

Cedar always loves to back some goodies.
These guys love sleepovers as much as we will give them. They can not get enough of playing, eating and goofing off as long as possible.

More happenings in February

Just a little tug o war.

February 24 was Pats birthday. Over the weekend Pat and I and Steve and Nancy took a trip down to Jackpot, NV for the night. None of us one anything, but we had a ton of fun getting out of town and spending time with friends. Cedar and Oakley helped Daddy celebrate with a chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. We love you and Happy 37th Birthday.
Cedar class held the Dr. Seuss Birthday program. They read stories and sang songs dedicated to Dr. Seuss. It was a great program and so fun to watch the kids.
